| Additional Information: | September 2021: #243376 is located at N4228 Klug Road in Darien. The resource is situated on the east side of the road on a 3.36-acre parcel. Trees line the northern, eastern, and southern edges of the parcel boundary. The surrounding area is rural, with agricultural fields surrounding the property and one modern residence to the east. The resource is accessed via a circular driveway. #243376 includes a circa 1970 Y-shaped alphabet subtype Ranch (NETROnline 2021, USGS 1960). The Ranch features a gabled, asphalt shingle roof, T1-11 siding, and a concrete foundation. It features two and three paned vinyl windows and a bay window. A concrete chimney is located on the rear wing’s roof slope. The primary entrance is located on the west elevation through a set of double doors. The attached garage, which is original to the dwelling, has T1-11 and faux stone masonry siding and features two paneled garage doors. No other details could be seen from the public right-of-way. However, according to aerial imagery and the Walworth County Property Record Card, the resource also includes a bank barn built in 1985, a shed built in 2010, and a detached garage built in 2006 (Walworth County Ascent Land Records Suite 2021). All appear to be gabled with asphalt shingle roofs. |
