Additional Information: | 2021 - This recreational building was constructed in circa 1915. The two-story building is comprised of two sections, both clad in clapboards with a brick-veneered knee wall encircling the building. The historic primary elevation faces west and is asymmetrically arranged, with the original portion of the building located to the south. This portion features a boomtown façade, while the northern portion, added at an unknown date, is front-gabled. The first story contains a main entrance in the northern portion, consisting of a single-door entryway and flanked by modern multi-paned vinyl windows. A second entrance is located near the southern end of the façade, consisting of a single metal door. The second story above contains a series of irregularly placed one-over-one double hung vinyl windows. The peak of the northern front gable is clad in fish-scale panels. A porch extends across the second story of the northern façade. The building was extensively remodeled circa 2005, resulting in the complete alteration of the southern portion’s original commercial storefront and the recladding of the entire building. The building reportedly contains a bar, restaurant, four-lane bowling alley, arcade, and two banquet facilities. |
