NOTES
Additional Information:2022- The Collins Marsh Dam was constructed of concrete in 1964, consisting of two radial gates separated by concrete piers, with a solid concrete overflow section to the east. Gates measure 12 feet wide and six feet high and provide control of the water levels in the marshlands to the north. The overflow portion of the dam is five feet high and measures approximately 55 feet in length. A short metal-grate walkway provides access to the radial gates at the western end of the dam, while the entire structure is spanned by a Pratt truss pedestrian bridge that connects walking trails on either side.
