NOTES
Additional Information:This 2-story Twentieth Century Commercial building was constructed in 1917 as the First National Bank of Blanchardville. It is rectangular in plan with brick walls and a flat roof (the brick of the first story is a post-2000 veneer that contrasts with the original brick of the second story). The front elevation faces east and features two central entry doors (these are metal-framed glass doors) and six singly-placed single-pane windows. A flat, clapboard-clad awning projects over the center portion of the façade and shelters the entrances as well as a concrete ramp with a modern metal handrail that runs parallel to the face of the building. A decorative band of brickwork wraps around the building above the first story. The second story of the façade contains eight pairs of sliding windows. A wood cornice board spans the front façade and wraps around the exposed south wall of the building.
