NOTES
Additional Information:2022 - This Commercial Vernacular building was constructed in 1860. The two-story building is clad in wooden clapboards, with a front-gabled, asphalt-shingled roof and fieldstone foundation. The primary elevation faces east and is symmetrically arranged. The first story features a recessed, double-door entryway with a single-light transom above and sidelights in the walls of the recess. Display windows on either side of the entry contain four large lights with wooden muntins. The entrance is sheltered by a flat roof porch supported by a raised concrete floor, chamfered wooden posts, square capitals and a plain entablature. The second story of the primary elevation contain three evenly-spaced 2-over-2 double hung windows in plain wooden surrounds. Windows and their surrounds throughout the building appear to be original. A two-story carriage house, constructed of similar materials, is located at the rear (western end) of the property. A one-story Commercial Vernacular building (AHI 244957) was constructed on the southern side of the building in 1947, and was joined via their shared wall at an unknown date.
