Additional Information: | This 2-story Craftsman house was constructed c.1920. It is rectangular in plan with stucco walls and an asphalt-shingled side-gabled roof with overhanging eaves that are accentuated by exposed rafter ends with triangular brackets under the gables. A red brick chimney with a flared cap projects through the roof slope near the south edge of the roof; a second chimney projects from the roof peak. The front elevation faces southeast and is asymmetrical in composition with a 1-story porch spanning the northern half of the façade. The porch features an asphalt-shingled gable roof with overhanging eaves, exposed rafter ends, and triangular brackets under the gable. The foundation wall of the porch is clad in vinyl siding, as are heavy, tapered piers upon which narrower stucco-clad supports rest. Inside the porch is a bank of three, narrow multi-over-1 windows and a multi-pane, glazed front door. The remainder of the front elevation contains a large picture window. A wide, shed-roofed dormer projects from the front roof slope; the dormer contains a bank of three 1-over-1 windows and features exposed rafter ends along the eave. |
