Additional Information: | This 1 ½ story bungalow was constructed c.1910. It is rectangular in plan with asbestos siding and an asphalt-shingled gable roof. The front elevation faces southwest and is asymmetrical in composition. A porch with a low-pitched gable roof spans the width of the façade; the porch features narrow, tapered wood pier supports that rest on an asbestos-clad porch wall; the porch gable is pedimented and the wall inside the gable is clad in asbestos. Inside the porch is a single front door, a bank of three 1-over-1 windows, and a single 1-over-1 window located in a recessed wall plane. Above the porch, a more steeply-pitched gable contains a single 1-over-1 window. Another gable projects from the southeastern roof slope and its overhanging wall is supported by a row of curved brackets. Below this is a picture window with a leaded-glass transom flanked by narrow 1-over-1 windows on each side. |
