Additional Information:2023: The W.H. Sharp Farmstead consists of a house (7287), milk house/springhouse (245587), basement barn (245588), agricultural outbuilding (245589), machine shed or garage (245590), and a pole building (245591). The five ancillary buildings that are north and west of the residence. The milk house/springhouse, basement barn, and agricultural outbuilding are north of the residence across the drive and are placed around the livestock pen. The machine shed and pole building are east of (behind) the residence and the basement barn. The basement barn is a two-story, gambrel roofed building constructed circa 1880. It is rectangular in plan with a longitudinal access parallel to Hi-Lo Drive. The basement level is constructed of uncoursed stone and features four Dutch doors and four window openings in the east elevation facing the livestock pen. The upper portion of the barn is clad in ribbed metal and features a sliding hay door in the east elevation above the livestock pen. The gambrel roof is covered in standing seam metal. A poured concrete silo is attached to the west elevation at the north end of the barn.
