Additional Information: | 2023: The agricultural outbuilding, potentially a hay barn, was constructed prior to 1937 immediately west of the basement barn. It is one-story, side-gabled, and rectangular in plan with a longitudinal access perpendicular to Woodland Lane. Visibility from the roadway is limited. The foundation appears to be a timber sill, and the exterior has been clad in ribbed metal. The W.R. Harris Farmstead consists of a residence (245595), large gambrel barn with attached milk house (245597), agricultural outbuilding (245598), and a garage (245596). Based on the proximity, access drives, and shape of the legal tax parcels, the farmstead may have also included the adjacent residence at W232 S7390 Woodland Lane (AHI 245594). From the roadway, the basement barn and agricultural outbuilding are directly behind (east) of the AHI 245594. |
