Additional Information: | This 1-story Minimal Traditional house was constructed c.1950. It is rectangular in plan with brick and board-and-batten walls and a metal-clad, side-gabled roof. The front elevation faces west and is asymmetrical in composition with a front-gabled mass projecting from the north end of the façade. The north half of this mass is clad in brick veneer and features a small 1-over-1 window; the southern half shelters a recessed porch containing the front door with a square wood post supporting the overhanging corner. The wall inside the gable is clad in vinyl. The remainder of the façade, south of the front-gabled bay, contains a multi-pane picture window set within a squared bay with scroll-cut wood panel below. The wall surrounding the bay window is clad in brick along its lower portion while the remainder is clad in board-and-batten. A garage bay projects from the north elevation of the house and features a front-gabled wall dormer containing a small 1-over-1 window in its west elevation; a decorative, scroll-cut panel is located below the window. Vehicular access to the garage is located in its north elevation. |
