Additional Information: | This 2-story American Foursquare house was constructed c.1910. It is rectangular in plan with clapboard siding along the front (south) elevation, vinyl siding along the side elevations, and an asphalt-shingled hipped roof. The front elevation faces south and is largely symmetrical in composition with a one-story, flat-roofed porch spanning the façade. The porch features columnar supports on each side of a central set of steps and square wood posts at the outside corners. Inside the porch is a central front door with large single-pane windows with decorative shutters on each side. Above this, at the second story is a central door providing access to the porch roof with single-pane windows on each side; both windows feature decorative shutters. A front-gabled dormer with a pedimented gable projects from the center of the front roof slope; this contains a single 1-over-1 window. |
