Additional Information: | This 2-story Queen Anne house was constructed c.1900. It is rectangular in plan with aluminum siding and an asphalt-shingled hipped and gable roof. The front elevation faces east and is asymmetrical in composition with a full-height, front-gabled projecting from the north end of the façade. The front entrance is located in the ell created by this projecting bay and the main building mass and is sheltered under a small entry porch. The front wall of the front-gabled mass contains a single-pane, fixed-sash window at the first story and a pair of 1-over-1 windows at the second story. Above this, a small ledge with decorative brackets creates a pedimented gable. A three-sided bay window with replacement sashes is located in the south elevation. No historic agricultural outbuildings associated with this property remain (all were demolished to allow for the construction of newer pole barns associated with the property’s current use as a diesel engine service facility). |
