NOTES
Additional Information:Each campsite is equipped with a gravel parking spur, fire ring and grill, picnic table(s), and gravel tent pad. Most camp sites are smaller “single” sites, with larger “double” sites located on the Hardwoods Loop. Capacity of a double site is defined as six vehicles, including up to two RVs/campers and four passenger vehicles or trailers and up to sixteen people, while single sites may not exceed four vehicles and eight people. Except for a few “pull-thru” sites, all sites have parking spurs designed for backed-in vehicles with lengths ranging from 25 to 45 feet. Site furniture at camp sites includes various types of picnic tables, fire rings, and grills. Picnic tables may be metal tube frames with wooden plank benches and tabletops, or all dimensional lumber. Grills may be mounted on posts, and fire rings are partially or entirely sunk in the ground, including some metal US Forest Service fire rings of a type designed in 1961, which has an attached grill that can be rotated on or off the flame. The Beaver Loop is the largest of the four loops and includes two comfort stations. Camp sites 1 through 30 are in the Beaver Loop and are all classified as single sites with basic site amenities and no electrical hookups.
