Additional Information: | This one-and-one-half-story, Minimal Traditional house was constructed c.1950. It is of frame construction and clad in stone veneer, with an L-plan. The cross-gable roof is covered with asphalt shingles, with an interior stone-clad chimney and wood siding in the gable ends. The front (north) facade features a projecting entry vestibule with a shed roof. To the east of the entryway is a projecting bay with a large fixed window with a metal awning flanked by four-over-six, single-hung, sash windows. A one-story gable projection used as a commercial space is located on the northwest corner. It features an entryway with concrete steps; two-over-two, double-hung sash windows; and large, fixed corner windows. A secondary entryway and two glass-block windows are located on the side (west) elevation. The rear (south) elevation features a large shed-roof dormer, a projecting bay window, entry door, and integrated basement-level garage. Remaining fenestration includes one-over-one and two-over-two double-hung sash, casement, glass-block, and fixed windows. A metal shed is located to the east of the house. |
