Additional Information: | 2023: This one-story, rectangular-plan Contemporary former bank was constructed c.1975 and is clad in stone and vertical wood. The foundation is not visible. It has a shed roof covered with an asphalt membrane and features a raised, shed dormer on the front (south) facade with paired, fixed windows. It has a wide, interior chimney clad in wood. The facade has a recessed, open entrance and three fixed, metal, floor-to-ceiling windows with stone sills. A carport and secondary entrance are on the side (west) elevation. The 5,200-square-foot building was constructed as a new location for Farmers State Bank after moving from its previous building at 128 South State Trunk Highway 13 (extant). Farmers State Bank operated in Stetsonville starting in 1913. Plans for the new bank included a drive-up window, conference rooms, and additional teller windows. Research did not reveal when the bank vacated the building. The current occupant is Van Der Veeken Accounting, which was founded in 2015. |
