Additional Information: | 2023 - The radio station WDUZ first went on the air in 1947 carrying ABC and affiliates broadcasting form a non-extant location in downtown Green Bay. Operated by the Green Bay Broadcasting Company, WDUZ constructed a building on the southeast side of the city in 1981 alongside a new 500-foot radio tower adjacent to the company’s offices. The station has since carried news programing, religious broadcasts, and music and was purchased by the Cumulus company in the late 1990s to broadcast music and sports and talk radio locally. |
