It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation. Builder was Robert Wakely. THE OLDEST BUILDING EXTANT IN WOOD CO. THIS BUILDING WAS BUILT AT A FERRY ACROSS THE WISCONSIN RIVER AT THE FOOT OF THE RAPIDS. Original owner was Robert Wakeley, Sr. (1808-18903). Later owners were Col. Charles Otto and Citizens of Point Basse. Restored in 1980.
