NOTES
Additional Information:A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. 2007- "This previously inventoried Bungalow is located on the south side of STH 29, near 6490. One outbuilding, a garage, is located on the property. A DOE was completed for this property on June 24, 1991. The conclusion of the study suggested the house is eligible for the National Register under Criterion C, as the best example of an unaltered Bungalow house type in the western Shawano County and eastern Marathon County area. Rising one-and-one-half-stories tall, the ca. 1915 clapboard Bungalow rests on a fieldstone foundation. The side-gabled roof has been replaced with asphalt shingles. A one-story, shed-roof addition has been appended to the rear elevation. With the exception of the addition, the house remains little-altered, and features original windows and doors. The garage was likely constructed ca. 1945 and is situated southwest of the Bungalow. Capped with an asphalt-shingle, gable-roof, the frame structure retains original windows." -"Ringle, Bevent, Hatley, Misson Lake, Birnamwood, Wittenburg", WisDOT #1053-09-06, Prepared by Rachel Bankowitz, (2007). 2007 SURVEY FOUND HOUSE UNALTERED, EXCELLENT INTEGRITY. 2020: No visible changes.
