| Additional Information: | A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. This four-story apartment building is constructed of red brick and decorated with simple Classical Revival motifs. The flat roof has a parapet marking the main entrances to the building. Also decorating these entrances are stone tabs with brick corbelling and simple frontispieces. Windows are eight over one light sashes. The building has been recently renovated. This building was listed in the National Register of Historic Places as a good example of a simple Classical Revival apartment building. Even more significantly, the building is a fine example of its type of construction, an early twentieth century apartment building. |
