| Additional Information: | IN 1991, A SMALL BAY WINDOW WAS ADDED TO THE WEST ELEVATION. REILLY WAS BORN ON JANUARY 9, 1877 IN MILWAUKEE. ATTENDED THE CITY'S PUBLIC SCHOOLS AND BRIEFLY ATTENDED A PRIVATE SCHOOL IN FORDHAM, NEW YORK. HE ATTENDED MARQUETTE UNIVERSITY AND GRADUATED IN 1896. HE BRIEFLY WORKED IN HIS FATHER'S TAILORING BUSINESS BUT IN DECEMBER OF 1898 HE FORMED A PARTNERSHIP WITH J.P. HURLEY AND OPENED A MEN'S FINE CLOTHING STORE CALLED THE HURLEY-REILLY CO. REILLY DIED ON JANUARY 16, 1918 AND HIS WIDOW CONTINUED TO LIVE IN THIS HOUSE THROUGH THE EARLY 1920S. IN 1923 ARTHUR C. UIHLEIN, A MEMBER OF THE FAMILY THAT OWNED THE SCHLITZ BREWING CO., BOUGHT THE HOUSE AND LIVED IN IT UNTIL 1933. John Debbink - carpenter.
