The cornice features two rows of alternating corbelled denticulation. The street level commercial storefront has been recently modernized but still retains its side (north) entry for access to the second floor. The original full length transom may still survive beneath the covering above the show windows. This property is a contributing member of the Marshfield Central Avenue Historic District under Criterion C of the National Register of Historic Places.
