NOTES
Additional Information:A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the State Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation. The Andrews Block is a two story, flat iron building occupying one of the "Five Points" in downtown Waukesha. Stylistically the building is related to commercial Prairie School designs, with strong horizontals introduced by limestone string courses and roof coping. Limestone window surrounds and isolated details at the roof line reflect a stronger historicist approach. The exterior is composed of reddish-brown brick with limestone string courses and details.
