Additional Information: | City of Green Bay, Wisconsin - Architectural and Historical Intensive Survey Report Phase 1 - 2021 Upper gable ends have sunburst decoration. Segmented arch paired windows with segmental arch surround on front facing salient. Second floor windows on side facing salients have three window groups with shorter side windows flanking center window in a manner reminiscent of Palladian windows. House has wide overhanging eaves with exposed purlins. Stylistically, this is a transitional house with a Queen Anne cruciform plan, but with both earlier and later stylistic elements. House may have been remodeled at a later date, but are still within the period of significance. The house is notable in its broader and longer ells which, with the double lot, give the whole a feel of spaciousness unusual in houses of this period in West Green Bay. |
