"Locomotive No. 2719, Class H-23, a Pacific with 4-6-2 wheel arrangement was built by the American Locomotive Works in 1923. It was retired in 1955. It traveled approximately 4 million miles in its 32 years of service pulling passenger trains between Minneapolis and Chicago" (A). |
