NOTES
Additional Information:A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. ARCHITECTURAL STATEMENT: THIS TWO STORY STUCCO HOUSE REPEATS THE DESIGN OF A NUMBER OF OSHKOSH BUILDINGS. WINDOWS APPEAR IN BANDS FLANKING THE CENTRAL ENTRANCE. IN THIS INSTANCE THE ENTRANCE IS ARCHED AND LOCATED IN A BRICK PORCH WITH GABLE ROOF. THIS ARRANGEMENT SEEMS OUT OF CHARACTER WITH THE REST OF THE BUILDING SUGGESTING IT WAS A MORE RECENT ADDITION. HOUSE IN PRAIRIE STYLE. RECTANGULAR TWO AND-A-HALF STORY STUCCO MASS WITH HIPPED ROOF AND ONE STORY SUN ROOM. WINDOWS APPEAR IN GROUPS. ARTHUR B. CHAPMAN OWNED THE HOUSE AROUND 1920.
