Additional Information: | A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation. Demolished around 1995 when Main St. was expanded. Fine brick front gabled house with segmental arched windows and doors throughout, each with corbelled brick hood molds above. The east and west facing facades have small horizontal windows under the eaves which also have corbelled rectilinear hood molds. The shorter rear addition is original to the house. Front porch has a flared mansard roof which is probably modern and is identical to that on the similar, adjacent houses at 1527, 1531 Main Street. Green Bay Intensive Survey Phases 2, 3 & 4 |
