NOTES
Additional Information:Series of arched second story windows ornamented by curvilinear moulded white window heads with articulated keystone with incised rosettes. Similar arch formation over groups of windows in third story (now all filled in). Symbols of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows under the main arch in the upper story, white stone accents. Store completely altered from the original. Constructed in 1887, the Odd Fellows Temple adds to the architectural variety of 19th century commercial structures in La Crosse as a representative of polychromatic Victorian architecture flavored by the Romanesque Revival. However, much of the character has been lost by alteration of the roof line and store front.
