Additional Information:This structure used to house a hardware store and tinshop in 1884, and is typical fo the rather utilitarian early commercial structure. The building built between 1879 and 1884 for the hardware retain form of Dittman and Jorstad. The partners were Fred Dittman (res. 1113 State) and John O. Jorstad (res. 1011 Main)> Prior to this Dittman had been in partnership with Adam Kroner at 319 Pearl Street (1881 City Directory).
