Additional Information: | Decorative brick work articulates surface around windows and cornice line; projecting one bay entrance with pressed concrete columns with eagle sculpture above cornice; belt courses divide surface horizontally. Free standing structure. 1996- "Social: Two story, brick structure with modem, brick veneer around new windows and doors, only one glass block window intact and one story, brick addition to rear; "1905/1935" is inscribed in cornerstone--"Fraternal Order of Eagles (Aerie 1254)" - "La Crosse North/South Transportation Corridor", WisDOT ID #5991-04-00, Prepared by Heritage Research, Ltd. (1996). 2017 UPDATE - THIS BUILDING LOOKS SUBSTANTIALLY LIKE IT DID WHEN LAST SURVEYED IN 1996. |
