| Additional Information: | Very unusual remodeling of a large, originally rural variant of the brick front gabled houses found in Green Bay. The original house had a 1A story tall, L Plan, multi-gabled main block and a one-story tall gable roof rear addition which is original to the house. The subsequent remodeling into an American Foursquare left the brick first floor facade of the original house intact, while adding a stucco sided second floor to both the main block and the rear wing. At the same time, the space formed by the front and east facing ells of the original house was enclosed by a glassed-in front porch behind whose windows the canted entrance and segmental arched windows of the original exterior can be seen. Original barn of the earlier house now used as a garage. |
