Holy Trinity is the earliest school structure still functioning in La Crosse. It is architecturaly significant as part of the ethnic religious complex of Holy Trinity Parish.

This school was built to replace two school buildings that stood at 1325 and 1331 S. Park. These were razed at the time this building was built.

Church (1333 S. 13th); Rectory (1333 S. 13th); Hall-Gymansium (1315 S. Park).

Plans for school were drawn in 1904 and the building constructed in 1909. Addition constructed in 1939; also designed by Parkinson & Dockendorff. This building also housed the first Catholic high school in La Crosse from 1916 until 1928 when the students were moved to the new Aquinas High School. Building was constructed by John Arenz, local contractor.
