| Additional Information: | Two story gable roofed projecting bays on east, north and south sides with one story gable roofed addition at the rear; three sided short tower element at north front; front and south side roof dormer; bargeboards; brackets under the eaves; wooden rectangular 2nd story window projecting from front gable and similar window on south elevation; rectangular bay window with bracketed flat roof on south side. Screened full length front porch; double entrance doors; straight flat stone window lintels; excellent example of local brick construction. 2017 UPDATE - THIS BUILDING LOOKS SUBSTANTIALLY LIKE IT DID WHEN LAST SURVEYED IN 1996. ALSO, THERE IS EVIDENCE THAT THIS HOUSE WAS ACTUALLY BUILT AS A DUPLEX, WITH A TWO STORY DUPLEX ON THE SOUTH SIDE, AND A TWO STORY DUPLEX ON THE NORTH SIDE. |
