NOTES
Additional Information:Designed by Merman and Skogstad, this home vaguely suggests the Gothic style. Features include: beige brick; steeply pitched multi gabled roof; flat arched windows; one bay gable roofed enclosed projecting entrance with round arched door; gable roofed dormers; multi paned window; large outside wall chimney. James Malles was Secretary of the Pure Food Products Company at the time this house was built. Sometimes attributed as the house of Norman Meir; Meir never lived here, but at 324 South 21st Street. This house, however, was commissioned by Norman Meir according to Blueprint Files in the Bentley and Merman collection.
