Additional Information: | Cornice returns, dentil trim, and small arched windows in front, north, and south cross gables; gable roofed projecting bays on south and rear sides; segmental arched windows; projecting cornice and side pilasters form the door's frontispiece; shed roofed addition on the south side and car port at the rear. John Henike first lived in this house in 1886, when he was employed as a blacksmith. Sometime during the 1890s, this building also served as Heinke's grocery store as well as residence.
