1953-repairs to deteriorated concrete
1964-all deteriorated concrete removed and replaced. a new slab poured over the old apron
1988-three new deck stringers were installed
2002-the existing railing, deck and steel girders were removed and replaced with a new 16' deep concrete flat slab structure and new railing. The bridge was widened to allow a clear roadway width of 3', corresponding to a total bridge width of 34' to accommodate the railings. New railing was added to new bridge. The canal dam was not physically affected by the bridge alteration.
