| Additional Information: | Thirteen bay structure constructed in two parts of which the west seven were constructed earlier in 1881; corbeled brick cornice common to both structures has dentil trim below and a parapet with textured brick panels above; straight, flat stone window heads on all west windows; oriel window has been replaced with modern "picture window"; all store fronts have been altered for contemporary retail use. A modest commercial building, the Callahan Block contributes to the 19th century architectural environment of the commercial district. |
