Additional Information: | Unusual design. Original full width wraparound veranda has been removed leaving a smaller pedimented gable roof entrance porch supported by two large Tuscan Order columns. There is a large, shallow polygonal bay window to the left of the entrance door having a shallower hip roofed polygonal bay window above it. The first floor of the house is sided in clapboard except on the curved corner to the right of the entrance which is sided in staggered courses of plain wood shingles. The main gable ends are sided in octagonal pattern wood shingles. The house has the appearance of having a cross or cruciform plan from the street, but actually has an offset, gable-roofed rear addition behind. Garage. Green Bay Intensive Survey Phases 2, 3 & 4 |
