Additional Information: | Albert Pfiffner, a wholesale and retail dealer in harness and saddlery, immigrated from Switzerland by way of Galena, Illinois. The building is also known to have housed the Pamperin and Wiggenhorn Cigar Co. in the 19th century; this building was constructed to replace buildings burned in the 1868 fire.
