Additional Information: | Map code is 070932109238 The Frederick Jr. and Anita Miner House was designed in the Prairie style, as were most of the earliest houses here. Low-slung proportions, ribbon windows, and dark bands emphasize the lines of the horizon and anchor the house visually to the earth. Prairie houses like these, with their stuccoed walls and woodwork designs, sometimes resembling half-timbering, blend well with the Neo-Tudor and other period revival styles that predominate. |
