| Additional Information: | Map code is 070913332030 This building is not listed as being part of the Mansion Hill Historic District. 1896 city directory states that there was a building located at this address in 1896. Kindschi owned the house next door at 128-6 N Butler and in 1904 had the structure there moved off lot (per the Madison Wisconsin State Journal Newspaper Archives March 16, 1904 Page 6) so he could build the 2 flat that stands there today. The house was split into 4 apartments by the Home Owners Loan Corporation in April/May of 1943, a couple of years after George Kindschi passed away and after Lydia Kindschi, his wife, had moved out of the home. |
