NOTES
Additional Information:A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation-Public History. Fine fire house building designed in a late and somewhat abstract Neo-Classical Revival style. All front corners are canted and all four of the principal facades are pilastered. The pilasters have concrete capitals and support a wide concrete beltcourse which surrounds the building and serves as the second floor window lintel. Thinner concrete bands encircle the building at the foundation and water course level and also form the second floor window sills. A brick parapet rises above a wide concrete cornice band. All windows on the building have been replaced with modern energy efficient units with those on the first floor also having been reduced in size. Four large garage door openings are placed between the pilasters on the south facing or main facade. These doors have blind resurfaces segmental arches above with spandrels being filled with brick laid in a herringbone pattern. Green Bay Intensive Survey Phases 2, 3 & 4
