Additional Information:2021 - The Appleton Middle Dam was constructed circa 1927. This large dam features a hydraulic height of 10 feet, with 15 tainter gates separated by concrete piers. It impounds and historically controls water levels for the Fox River Paper mill race to the north and the west power canal to the south.
