It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. Related building: OU 29/25 (AHI# 38957). The J.B. Courtney Co. is the outgrowth of the old Custom Woolen Mills. Prior to that, the mill was known as Kelly and Spearing Knitting Works. The plant was purchased from Spearing by the J.B. The building is a two story structure, quarried block exterior, with a concrete block foundation. The structure has a gabled roof and the small addition which is presently used for storage has a shed roof. |
