Additional Information: | Additional map codes are: 30/2 30/12 29/37 FCS 9/2. F in the photo codes is short for FCS. FCS 9/2 - a contiguous series of offset rectangle, this irregular, three-story utilitarian industrial building has a ground story built partly of coursed ashlar stone and upper walls of brick. The double-gabled upstream endwall has a tripartite corbelled cornice and a random array of metal-frame window inserts, metal doors, and brick-and-stone-infilled openings in place of the original segmental-arched windows and doors. Enlarged openings accomodate a two-story overhead door at right center, a door in the upper left reached by an external metal stair, and its flanking double windows with cement sills. A double window in the right upper story is flanked by high pairs of square windows. Similar alteration of apertures is seen throughout the structure, now adapted for use by several commercial and manufacturing concerns. Resurveyed December 2010; no visible changes. |
