NOTES
Additional Information: 2021 - This bridge was constructed in 1946 across the main portion of the Fox River, east of the Appleton Middle Dam. The bridge is an 8-span steel girder bridge with two additional concrete flat slab spans on the northern end, with a concrete deck that was recently replaced in 2012. The entire length of the bridge is 613 feet and carries two lanes of traffic over the river as well as two five-foot sidewalks. Concrete parapet walls on either side are topped with painted iron railings. The northern end of the bridge terminates at the beginning of the next bridge that spans the Fox River Paper mill race. The southern end of the bridge terminates at the north island that lies in the middle of the Fox River.
