NOTES
Additional Information:A two-story, brick, falt-roofed, three-bay, Italianate commercial building with an unsympathetically modernized stone veneer, plate glass and metal panel storefront. The upper facade is fenestrated with three evenly spcaed, one over one wooden windows with projecting brick hood moulds with limestone keystones and corbels. The window sills rest upon a continuous ilmestone string course. Above the corbelled brick frieze the original cornice has been removed and replaced with a tall, plain, red brick parapet with a cast stone coping. This structure is a contributing building within the College Avenue Historic District under criterion C as a representative example of the Italianate style retail building of the 1880's that retains distinguishing features of the style inspite of alterations to the storefront and parapet. 2024: Not resurveyed, renovated storefront level and replacement windows. Not contributing to College Avenue HD.
