Additional Information:This structure contributes to the significance of the East College Avenue Residential Historic District under Criterion C as a pivotal example of an Eastlake style house displaying outstanding millwork. The house is notable as a remarkable survival of an early 1880's house representing a rare decorative mode with extraoridnarily fine turned knee-brace brackets at the eaves, elaborate window trim and a fine porch.
