| Additional Information: | Gabled door hood; original two over two windows; rear addition. 2021 - This Front Gabled house was constructed circa 1890. It is asymmetrical in plan, with a two-story front gabled block and a one-story side-gabled wing to the south. A one-story low-slope gable roofed addition has been added to the rear. In the front of the house, the ell contains a small one-story front gabled projection. The primary elevation faces west, with the main entrance located in the center of the two-story block and sheltered by a small gabled awning. Windows are symmetrically arranged on either side of the doorway, and a single window is centered in the second story above. The house retains its clapboard siding and some of its original windows, which were 2-over-2 double hung sashes in plain surrounds, however most windows have been replaced with 1-over-1 double hung sashes. |
