Additional Information: | 2024: This Queen Anne duplex was constructed circa 1890. The two-and a half-story house faces west, with a hipped and multi-gabled asphalt-shingled roof, a fieldstone foundation and asphalt siding. A wrap-around porch stretches around the southwest corner of the house. It features a flat roof that allows for a walk-out porch for the second-story unit as well as the first. Both entrances are located beneath the porch roof which is supported by smooth round pillars with a modern balustrade in between, and a denticulated entablature above. A leaded glass oxeye window is located at the southwest corner of the second story, flanked by a bay of two one-over-one sashes. The closed gabled pediment above is clad in shingles and features a flared base and a denticulated lintel that projects above a bay of three one-over-one sashes. A gable on the southern elevation features a similar arrangement and materials, as does a gabled dormer. Front corner porch; oval window. |
