Additional Information: | This structure contributes to the significance of the City Park Historic District under Criterion C as an interesting example of a stick style Queen Anne house with an unusual roof shape. This large house exhibiting the stickwork wall articulation so peculiarly popular in Appleton from the 1880's until the turn of the century also reflects such high quality later alterations as the massive colonial inspired front porch no doubt added as part of a campaign of Fashionable improvements in the early twentieth century. Additional map codes are: 8/4. Garage. 2024: demolished, date unknown |
